NASA Scientist to Address Students at DexSchool

Ms. Mamta Patel Nagaraja, an award-wining NASA scientist and Project Head of the globally awarded Women@NASA Program will address students at the Dexterity School of Leadership and Entrepreneurship (DexSchool). In her address, the NASA engineer, also a recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service medal, talks about the role of women in leadership and share stories and experiences from her own life, and then answers some questions asked by the students. She mentioned “I am thrilled to be able to address students at DexSchool. The DexSchool has a special focus on social and economic change through education, which is important in making the lives of next generation better. I hope more students get a chance to go through the DexSchool and more people support programs as such.”
In its third year now, the Dexterity School of Leadership and Entrepreneurship will also feature mentors including Sr. Sudha Varghese, a Padma Shree Awardee who was recently visited by the co-chair of the Gates Foundation, Ms. Melinda Gates; Mr. Irfan Alam, a Harvard alum and globally renowned social entrepreneur; Mr. Gautam Kitchlu, an INSEAD alum and a serial entrepreneur who founded businesses as FabFurnish; Mr. Syed Sultan Ahmed, an MIT grad, a Presidential awardee and founder of EduMedia India.
Sharad Vivek Sagar, the founder and Executive Director of the DexSchool lauded his team’s efforts for having an exceptional dialogue with NASA and other organizations in brining in some of the world’s most influential people as DexSchool mentors.The DexSchool’s Class of 2015 will be conducted from 24th – 28th May, 2015 at St. Xavier’s College in Patna. 30 Students from all across India and Nepal have been selected after a rigorous online application and interview rounds.
