Sharad Sagar on MSU Syllabus, in Taiwan Minister's Speech

Sharad Vivek Sagar, an internationally renowned entrepreneur from Patna and the Founder and CEO of Dexterity Global, has been quoted in the Entrepreneurship Curriculum of the Michigan State University. Michigan State University is one of America’s top 100 universities and is globally ranked in the top 500 of the world.

This unique achievement makes Sharad Sagar one of the youngest entrepreneurs ever to be featured in a University’s syllabus. The Dexterity Global CEO is also the only Indian entrepreneur to be quoted. The course is titled “Social and Cultural Entrepreneurship” and is taught by Professor Dànielle Nicole DeVoss. In this course, students at the Michigan State University learn creative and innovative ways to combat global challenges of the world through entrepreneurship.

Being quoted at global platforms is not new for Sharad. Over 100 organizations across the world have quoted Sharad’s innovative ideas and visionary thoughts at the world stage. Fairly recently in July 2015, Dr. Joyce Yen Feng, a Minister of the Taiwanese Government quoted Sharad while delivering a keynote at the Social Enterprise World Forum 2015 in Milano, Italy. Sharad is also one of the youngest entrepreneurs of the world to have received a verified page (Sharad Sagar Official) from Facebook.

In the 2015 syllabus at Michigan State University, Prof. DeVoss has featured three renowned entrepreneurs: Ms. Jaqueline Novogratz, an American entrepreneur, who is the Founder and CEO of Acumen and is listed among Top 100 Global Thinkers of the World by Foreign Policy; Mr. Bill Drayton, another American Entrepreneur who is the Founder and Chairman of Ashoka and is listed among America’s 25 Best Leaders; and Sharad Vivek Sagar, an Indian entrepreneur who is a multiple UN awardee, the Founder and CEO of Dexterity Global and is listed among the Top 100 Next Century Innovators of the World by the Rockefeller Foundation.

Last month, Sharad had received a VIP invitation to the Global Economic Leaders Summit in China. Sharad was invited alongside several heads of state and Fortune 500 CEOs.

Sharad said, “I am excited beyond measure that people, organizations and institutions across the world are so widely accepting and spreading all the good things that we have to say, all the good work we want to get done, and all the impact we are achieving and want to achieve. Social Impact is a different ballgame. No one can lead it alone and it is deeply encouraging to see validation, support, and action.”
